Nice JavaScript touch
Odopod‘s pink interface is brave, but what makes me browse through the sections is the nice, subtle touch of JavaScript on all the interactive elements. Very nicely done!

Nice work by Italy-based interaction design firm ToDo. Their elegant JavaScript sliding/toggling presentation of their work section is sweet.
Reminds me a little of SpaceCollective‘s project section, albeit a little less elegant.
Awesome paper model of a mountain range, made out of Fedrigoni paper. Must be a lot of works & tons of paper cuts. Very nice!
A fabulous compilation of typography & font tools by tripwire magazine. Good resource for designers when picking fonts for the web as well as some really useful tools for HTML & CSS developers (thank you!) to “see” the font.

We’re not trying to make their life painful. Trust me, it is painful for us designers when we see fonts being abused, used interchangeably, kerning discarded, or weight distinction abandoned.
Favorite tools from the bunch:
…to wipe away your tears. The $28 handkerchief from Design Glut is a perfect present for your (possibly ex) stockbroker friends, embroidered with Dow Jones graph from 2004 to 2009. If it continues to go south, they will have to just let some strings hang loose at the edge of the cloth. 🙂
