Serious X-Acto-wielding superheroes

They don’t all used X-Acto knives, but they all must have patience, persistence and cool, unshaky hands. Beautiful, some are intricate, some are just fun, but they all deserve “wow, that’s a lot of work!” admiration.

Cilantro!

Finally, someone who loves cilantro as much as I do: F*** Yeah Cilantro, a blog dedicated to all things cilantro and its awesomeness. It’s juvenile and yes, I laughed at some of the posts. You just have to applaud the passion. I knew I wasn’t alone in this world…

Food note: I love, love, love cilantro. Lovely colors, fantastic taste, just that right flourish on top of your food making it look finish and tempting. The smell is a love/hate thing, but of course, I love it. 🙂

Hello Monday

Very nice site, great portfolio and my favorite: the bronze duotone, which makes a great backdrop for the images when moused over. I like.

Tagged & searched

Simple site with cool search function done in JavaScript & .Net Ajax (that’s what my IT Director, Ronan McCoy, says anyway). As far as I’m concerned: Clean interface, searchable, simple and simply works.

Reminds me of a Flash counterpart from Hornall Anderson, which is a beautiful site with strong layout and eye-popping details that work.

These two are examples of why planning ahead and believing in a strong concept of how you want your site to interact with the user do pay off. It would suck to have to go back and tag all those content because you forgot. 🙂
