Smooth animation

Check out this smooth animation for Clear Channel airport kiosk prototype by Pieter Hergert. It is, in his own words, pretty bad ass.

The Third & The Seventh

The Third & The Seventh by Alex Roman is a full CG piece that tries to illustrate architecture art across a photographic point of view where main subjects are already-built spaces. It’ll be really pretty projected on a full wall in my living room. That would be surreal.

p.s.: Because the video is super high quality, even when played full screen — which is what he’d like you to do, it takes a bit to stream.

New Art @ Squeaky

New art additions at Squeaky HQ to kick off 2010. No photos yet of them in the office, but these 2 wood-dudes from the artist collective !ND!V!DUALS are really cool. They’re like  a whacky interpretation of A Night at the Roxbury.

+LifE by Unouplus

This cool +LifE site from Yoshihiro Toda aka Unouplus is a simple user-generated private movie archives but its interface is a pleasure in interactivity, color, motion and simplicity. When you have time, do check his portfolio.

Journey To Zero

Journey to Zero is a nifty site with drag/click/arrow-key navigation that invites exploration of its beautiful layout and typography. Born under the tutelage of Richard Saul Wurman (TED founder),  it will guide the conversation around zero emission mobility. You can join the movement, make a poster, download the font, take the pledge and spread the word around you.

Several super-talented creative minds collaborated in bringing the site to life, including Nessim Higson aka IAAH, Mitchell Paone aka DIA and Marcus Eriksson aka Subdisc (my favorite-designer-du-jour; the talented creative mind behind many of the Nike/Jordan interactive projects).
