Adidas Y3: Zidane + Bored Models

Adidas Y3 & Zidane

Yes, he played dirty against the Italians in World Cub 2006 finals but I love my bald men. And he looks so Zidane in this Adidas Y3 SS/10 Collection. The rest of the boring models in the campaign adds a sense of je ne sais quoi to the whole look. I like it. Or maybe I’m just into Zidane, just like I’m into the scandalous Eric Cantona.

Quote du jour: Sirs, you are imbeciles

“These five paintings are unsellable, so thieves, sirs, you are imbeciles. Now return them.”

—Pierre Cornette de Saint-Cyr, director of the neighboring Palais de Tokyo

How so French! And appropriate for the stolen Picasso & Matisse. Five paintings worth over $100 million from the Paris Museum of Modern Art swiped even though the museum had reported problems with its alarm system two months ago. Seriously? Something worth looking into perhaps?

Super Sexy CPR

Fortnight Lingerie is definitely pushing something with their Super Sexy CPR video. Digital Buzz Blog said that as far as the technique (CPR, that is), it’s spot on. Within 5 days, it was viewed over 1 million times on Vimeo and I’m sure it’s not because of the accuracy.

The Super Sexy CPR site itself doesn’t really do much outside of asking you to signup for updates & goodies. But wait! Super Sexy Abdominal Thrusts is coming in June! 😉

Stella Artois: The Ritual Project

The Ritual Project – a campaign for Stella – brings back the lost art of hand-painted advertising. Watch the short film ‘Up There’ that captures the essence so beautifully. It’s a touching story of art, expertise and craftsmanship that celebrates the “meticulous ceremony that goes into pouring a perfect glass of lager.”

It’s pretty damn impressive. Just like the brand says, “Whether pouring the perfect Stella Artois or recreating it as a massive piece of art, the magic lies in watching it come to life.”
